When you submit an insurance claim through the EDI or iTrans system. the claim is first processed by your very own EDI or iTrans server application. This server application may be running on your server computer, on a consult room computer or even on the reception computer. You will be able to see the application icons in the task bar, near the bottom right corner of your screen.


It is always best to document which computer is running the EDI or iTrans server for both reference and troubleshooting purposes.


Check to see that the server application is open and operating by checking your taskbar and clicking on the icon.


If you do not see the icon, check your desktop or by navigating to Start>All programs (or program files on XP)>Startup and launch the application.


If the application is on and functional and you are running iTrans;


Is the internet working?

If the internet is working, the application is on and it's still not working, it's probably best to put a support ticket in, and we will assign a technician to the issue. Unfortunately if the internet is not working, it's probably a good time to put a support ticket in as well. 


If the application is on and functional and you are running EDI;


Is your modem plugged in?

If the modem is plugged in, and the application is on and working,  it's probably best to put a support ticket in, and we will assign a technician to the issue. Unfortunately if the modem is not working, it's probably a good time to put a support ticket in as well.
